So my week.

Monday I had my first marketing seminar. What fun!
Its better than Managing Information- the tutor seems to know what he's on about and actaully USES the slides they force us to print each week. MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!
I have to come up with a marketing issue within my company for my project by tonight.. yes I shall get on with that.

Wednesday I had another RA application meeting. This was exactly the same as the other one I had in December so I didnt pay too much attention. Just looked enthusiastic and took the required application forms away to fill out.

Thursday my office decided to burn down.
Well... ok not burn DOWN exactly... but set on fire. on the 8th floor. Seeing as my office is on the 10th floor this wasnt a good thing. I enjoyed a half hour break from work. A ten flight walk down to the lobby and a ten min convo with elevator man for my troubles. Althought there were lots of nice firemen running up the staris as I was walking down so not a complete waste of an afternoon! The 8th floor was flooded with an mucky brown water and the head partners office on our floor filled with smoke.- All rather exciting for my office anyway.

Friday night meg came over and suba, tom, meg and I had drinks in the flat and sushi. v. good.

Saturday I woke late and discovered everyone had gone oput somewhere- nice of them to let me know tho wasnt it? I went to the mall and shopped very cautiously with my $20 I had spare and managed to pick up a few gems. The evening I stayed in and read my book- which is just too good to explained but I cant stop reading it!! - Water for Elephants - read it!

Sunday I did some food shopping, cleaned the flat and then hit 14th street with Suba and Heloise to see a film. Of course as we had Suba with us- this made a 20 min excursion into an hour as we had to pause every couple of blocks to rest...grr.
Thye film was good- 'the other Bolyn girl'- worth seeing even if a little over acted. Following this we headed home and had dinner.

Tonight I have class again.. which of course I will have prepared for by the time I show up :)
It also seems I have passed my six month review - well that IS a relief isnt it? I can tell you were all fretting away about that one! Anywho- back to work x
