Not Much To Tell

After Lucy left - I was punished for my all-party no-sleep week with a horrible dose of food poisoning. It hurt. Alot.
I spent three days in bed whining about the pain. (although there was no one there.. sniff)

Then on Thursday I thought I should go into work.
and Friday.

Friday night I went to the movies with Suba and Raj to attempt to reconcile the friendship that was destroyed by the crippling (by Raj) of Suba's (cripple) foot.
We saw Run Fat Boy Run - which, in hindsight... may not have been the best move when we were supposed re-kinderling a friendship based on the fact the cripple could no longer walk... ah well. Twas a funny film. I laughed. :)

Saturday I slept. In the evening Basil, Suba, Heloise, Danielle, her bf, Louis, Anna and I, went to midtown for African food. The food was really good. We all ate from a huge metal plate in the middle of the table filled with meats and stri-fried vegetables, wrapping everything in a strange elasticy pancake thingy. V. tasty. We even had desert -which is rare in NY - creme caramel - a long time coming- very ni9ce tho. Went home and slept happily.

Sunday Suba, Heloise, Basil and I went for brunch at the Stardust Diner. Its on Broadway, so of course its not JUST a diner. The waiting staff are all aspiring Broadway stars and take it in turns to pass a round a microphone and blast out their best rendition of any famous broadway tune they can think of. There were a few duets and at one point they climbed up on to the diner seats and walked along between booths kicking their feet and shouting 'New York New York' - (I know not strictly a Boradway musical).
Afterward I went to Hoboken and found a new book for my commute travels. I wandered a round a little, then went home and read said book. Everyone else was busy doing project work so all was quiet.

Told ya it was an exciting one!
Well tonight is class. Tomoro is also class. Maybe I'll do something on wednesday...
