Superbowl week

Greetings,

This weeks has been fun.

Monday was class- not so much fun as moderately rewarding to finally have soemthing to engage ones brain after weeks of elementary school history lessons. I was required to produce a company profile and imput/output chart of infomation management in my firm. Well, department, and as my department consists primarily of me, I figure this wont be too taxing a project :-)

Tuesday I went kickboxing after work. This was better than some times and I managed to not curse the instructor once during the whole hour and half- yes I know how good am i?! I mean the walk home in the rain was a little dampening (excuse the pun)on the good mood, but I woke up relatively unscaved muscle-wise on wednesday morning! (I figure I must be improving... or being lazy.. its hard to say).

Wednesday I met Suba after work and headed for the cinema in Newport Mall. As it was just girls we went to see the chick-flick of chick-flicks '27 dresses.' Of course during the day I told my mum this who thought I was spending the evening going to see 27 dresses?? No, I dont know what she's on about either....
Anywho, the film was as expected, girly, cheesy, but very watchable. It doesnt need to be done twice. I left having been entertained, but hardly better off for it.

Thursday evening was Kickboxing again - spurred on from my success on tuesday I prepared to go throught it again. More painful than Tuesday - but good for me I'm sure :)

Friday evening Jan came over and She, Rohan, Richard, Tom and I watched a horribly gory film and ate Pizza. Jen spilt the wine, Richard flooded the bathroom and Rohan set his sock on fire. I came out of the evening unscaved!

Saturday I met Suba (who hasnt been at home for 3 nights as she's cat-sitting her co-workers cat for a week) in Hoboken for lunch. We found a cool little French bakery place and had panini's and 'chips' then walked back to Newport. I found the greatest coat and the wierdest shop on the way and had to buy it. We stopped for fairy lights in a possible fairy light shop- but couldnt find any and bought a twinkle twinkle little star poster for our room. What? It was cool!
Suba headed back to Mnahattan, so Richard and I did some food shopping, then decided around 10.30pm it would be a great idea to make Lemon meringue Pie- I mean who wouldn't? By 12.30 we had an amazing pie! It only had to set for 3 hrs in the fridge so we drank beer and waited.....
At 3.30am we ate pie! Its was amazing!

Sunday I woke up late.. (can't think why) and did laundry etc. Then decided to join the boys who were going to see the new Rambo film in the mall. I think after Wednesdays girly flick it had to be balanced out a bit. The film was great, a little violent, but worth seeing. After this I met up with Jen again and we went to the teahouse (yes there's a tea house opposite my new building) for chai tea and tappioca?!! It was good, kinda chewy. Then I went back to Jen's we watched Bridget Jones on TV. As you may know, today was superbowl. Although Jen and I wenrt actaully watching it- we knew who was winning as the whole building shook at intervals when the Giants scored. As it turns out we won. erm.. yay?

Monday- I'm at work again. lol. Tonight is class once more and I am about to start the work for that one now. Next week however promises to be a big one so keep reading!
